Where in the HE11 did all this come from?
I bought my R a few months ago but never really used the AC until recently. at setting 1 or 2 it sounded fine but 3-4 it was very loud. I took off the Blower Motor and this is what I found. I am just wondering HOW it all got in there??? Is this Normal? The Car is only 2 years old. Is there some place that I can screen off so that this doesn't get back in there?

What is it? You cant screen anything off since the ac draws the air infront of the windshield. Like someone said earlier, something must have crawn in there.

try dealing with the smell...
i am currently dealing with the same thing. a few weeks ago i went to wash d.c. (5 1/2 hour trip) and guess what i found out an hour into the ride? argh... i cleaned it out, but the smell in unbearable...

It's funny it didn't smell like anything dead. Just made the AC weak and LOUD. I got that stuff out and now it's all better.

dude.. are you telling me you have no clue what it was? i mean we can only tell so much from the pics.. but yeah, surely you can identify if there are claws or carcass or whatever in there.. maybe some bones. i mean jeez, we arent being comedians.. that was probably something dead!

Honestly I didn't venture to pick through the debris. It looked like a little bit of everything. NOT a BIRD for sure NO FEATHERS. I am just wondering HOW anything can get in there since the vents on the windshield have such small holes. The stuff wasn't in small pieces. Looked like some Paper and Leaves and maybe some fur or hair but I didn't inspect it all that close

Look under the Glove Box and you will see a wire connected to the motor. Disconnect the Wire and there are 3 TORX/Flathead Screws holding it in there Undo the screws and it will just drop right out.
Maybe we could have a contest to see who has the most crap in their blower LOL
