Default tail lights filling with water

Everytime it rains my '98 accord's tail lights fill up with water. Since the taillights are built into the trunk lid, when I open my trunk the water begins to stream out of the tail lights and into my trunk. A great amount of cussing then insues. I carry around two bowls to catch the water before it hits the inside of my trunk. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I am thinking about caulking around the perimeter of the light covers with clear caulk.

you need to take apart your tail lights and re-seal them as the silicone (or similar) seal is broken

Thanks for the advice. We took the lights apart and resealed them. A few hours later it rained (monsoon season in Texas apparently) and no water got in the lights. woohoo!!!
