The car has tons of power, and great brakes. The suspension is a mess though. Shocks and springs will be completely different by the next race hopefully. Even with the handling problems, I was able to finish 4th in H1 on Saturday, 7th overall.

I took a few, but haven't uploaded them yet. Hopefully some of the people watching got a few shots of it on track...

That's the worst condition I've seen Karl in yet. He did the right thing, though it sucked not having him out there with us.
A fun, yet exhausting weekend was had. Thanks to everyone for making it a memorable one and of course...
Happy Birthday Frank!!!

I holed the radiator during the saturday race. Rock went clean through it and took out a vein. Then I proceeded to overheat the living **** out of the motor... Popped the headgasket, scored all the bearings on the bottom end, including a touch of copper on one rod bearing.
Oh, the best part... We had 2 of the oil squirter tips in the oil pan. I don't even know how the hell that is possible. When you hear SGT say "Whoah... I've never seen this before..." that's some **** right there.
He cleaned up what was left of the bottom end, replaced the headgasket, and overfilled the motor with molasses weight oil. We were down 60 psi in 3 cylinders, but I finished the race on sunday. Rough weekend. Time to rebuild... again :-/

What happened?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Saturday I qualified about four seconds slower than I ran last year. As a result my position in the grid was something less than ideal. I did work hard, and got a couple seconds faster.
When I got out of the car Saturday I was actually dizzy, and almost fell down. Almost immediately I had to go to work sorting out all the car-to-car contact we had. Despite suggestions to just rest a bit from people, I went to work along with Bookler and Whitaker (thanks guys!). I think I overworked myself, and followed it up with a bad nights sleep.
I felt pretty awful by mid afternoon on Sunday, was still off the back in the grid, and decided it was time to just cut my losses and go home.
