Default Tail Light Options?

Ive decided to drop the sleeper look (and the stripped look)..spent a couple of hours yesterday, undercoating my interior, putting in carpet padding, and the front half of the interior, hopefully can figure out how the rear goes in I have some 16" wheels I want to put on, though I cant find lug nuts that fit and either an RS or WW kit how original, my front is all clears now, but I was wondering what options do I have for tail lights that dont look "ricey" I hate that word btw..I dont want clear tail lights or Altezzas, I was thinking Supra taillights, even though people say theyre overdone Ive only seen them in pictures, or maybe Mr2 tailights, I thought about the JDM ones that say CR-X VTEC but those dont look much different than the US Ones.. Anyone know of any taillights swaps that would look good? And no corvette lights What are your thougthts about Supras?

I kind of agree with the Supra tail lights being "overdone" on the CRX. MR2 would probably look pretty good. I was actually thinking of trying a 93+ Integra tail light conversion a while back, before I decided not to spend too much on appearance. I saw a pic a while back of a CRX with NSX tail lights on it.

as far as diff taillights if you want bolt ons you only got your choice of , altezzas, clears, jdm and quadconversions. which are all ricey like you said, quad conversions are ok i guess, some guys like em some dont, if you ask me the jdm ones are probably the slickest, crx stock taillights are pretty diff than any taillights out there.

Now as far as conversions, you can stick anything in there man. If you get it done by a shop then itll be more expensive, and i mean hela expensive. Supra lights hav been way over done but they look pretty slick. there were some guys who sold urethane molds that were direct bolt ons in your rear taillights that had the supra lights already cut out of them, they ran like 300 bucks. But the link is no longer available, you can go to http://www.importfan.com and email the guys, they can probably refer you to the guy. Pretty much anything will fit, go to teamprototype.com those guys have all types of crazy conversions on their crx's.

but hey hows this for a conversion, nsx taillights.

Thanks for the replies..btw what do you mean by quad conversion? Sorry if its a dumb question but I dont understand.. Ive heard about the drop in Supra Taillight conversion, but I didnt think it was true, bodyshop quoted 500 for Supras, I heard that Mr2s are harder to put in for some reason. I like the NSX lights, but Im sure they cost, also they look like Accord sedan lights to me. Maybe Ill just go JDM, Im sure the mr2s or Supras would attract much unwanted attention

There actually were guys who were making urethane molds to just drop in the supras, but i dont remember their names and the url is gone, just email importfan guys and theyll tell you. They had pictures up on their site and they looked pretty cool. Another thing you could do is buy a 2nd set of taillights trace your supras over them and then just cut a hole for em with a dremel, try and get it as close as possible once their in and bolted up just fill the cracks with bondo or fiberglass and finally just smoothe it out, a lot of guys who wanna do this conversion do it this way, and its fairly simple with a little fiberglass or bondo knowledge.

Here are quad conversions.

They look ok and run somewhere in the 300 range. People have mixed opinions on them, i think they r ok but id much rather prefer jdm tails, id much rather get props on my taillights from die hard enthusiast than just the average joe.
