Some pics I took yesterday, we got there late so most of the cars had already left, If I go again today, i'll take some more.







The supercharger + turbo setup was in the turbosmart booth. Guy said it was something they were working on. From what I've read it doesnt really work, but I didnt feel like discusssing that with him, hehe.

there werent that many turbo setups there, mostly bling bling
but i got there at 7pm, and most ppl were already leaving by then.

if you want two tickets i'll give em for $30, they are $20 each.
i dont really feel like going today. but they have the bikini contest around 2. and awarding the trophies.

 

they pulled over so many ppl leaving the show around 7ish, cuz thy had radars on both sides of the street, and around 5 -6 cruisers standing ready. there was a special task force there as well along with a lot of cops. imo, it was a waste of money, too bad i bought the weekend pass so i have to go again today and pay another dam $10 parking fee

 

dont forget to take pics of the bikini contest at 2

 

the prelude sc/tc setup will probably blow right up. there's hot air from the turbo being sucked up and heated by the supercharger with no intercooler to chill the air.

I was thinking the same thing!

 

I've seen that prelude SC+ turbo motor at JRP

yeah i heard they were pulling EVERYONE with a "done up" car over and making them go to this inspection ****. complete bullshit!

not true I got pulled over with my Stock R and I mean no drop,muffler nothing!

That's SEM's +600hp turbo golf...dirty dirty car. I didn't go but they also have a turbo coraddo that is just sick..500hp daily driven..

 

the VW was in the saber exhaust booth, i think it had the biggest turbo in thw whole show. saber exhaust always has good workmanship.

that turbosmart booth was in the JRP section. I talked to another guy in the booth about it today, he said its mainly for show. he said no one in their right mind is gonna pay 5Gs for supercharger and then 5Gs for turbo and then a couple more thousand for engine rebuild. but he was keen on sticking to the idea that its really gonna work.

surprisingly there were more turbo cars today. from what i learnt today was the general honda/acura community didnt know anything about their turbo setups, most were Greddy ones, i was kinda saddened by this. the nissan guys had better setups and knowledge. i strongly believe our honda-tech FI forum are pretty knowledgeable in aspects of theory and practical from the street racers, but its different cuz we got a collective of ppl from all over the world contributing and teaching. I the FI forum.

Was talking to this girl, poor girl said she had 3 TON injectors (maybe i heard wrong but then she went to ask someone when i asked how many CC, then she said 310. probably im getting old, but i was like wtf 3 ton!
