Default New pics and some tech

Well last night I took the J's off and put the stock intake back on. There is a huge difference in noise level.

Before: There was about as much engine noise as exhaust.
After: There is hardly any engine noise and all exhaust now.

Today I took off my GM rims and put the CW rims back on. Also waxed the car using Meguiars 3 step wax

Sometime in the near future my car is going into the shop to finally get my front end painted. Now for some pics.

did you notice any difference with the stock box on? I put my stock box back on recently, but it sucked compared to my AEM so I put the AEM back on.

I did notice a difference when I took the J's off. The whole RPM range doesnt feel as powerful and i can notice a change in throttle response.

Ive had both the J's and AEM, the J's is better IMO. The AEM just felt like it had no low and middle range power. I would have to say that on a butt dyno the stock intakes low and middle range were more powerful than the AEM

Nice clean R man. Who doesn't love JDM fronts...mmmm

edit: I have a 98 as well, but my head is not nearly as clean as yours. Did you powerwash it, or is it repainted, or what??

Everytime i wash my car, I clean my engine bay so the head just looks brand new. Nothing done just Simple Green and water

If you can afford it, I would definately get the Mugen over the J's.

The loud engine noise is addictive
