b18c shift linkage question
i am in the process of doing a b18c sir-g swap into a eg. I have already had problems with the mounts, now i have a new one, teh shift linkage i got with it doesnt work, i dont knwo if i have to do somehting to it to make it fit, or if they just sent me the wrong shift linkage. The two bars, do a like twizler around each other twice, they wrap around each other, then when you try to make them work, try to bolt the bar that holds the shifter up into the other bar, and then into the car, it doesnt work, they hit hit, and even if i could get it bolted up, i wouldnt be able to shift. i heard you ahve to modify it, is this true, can anyone help me. PLEASE alomst dont with swap besides this probelm, and waiting on mounts. thanks
If the linkages are the right ones than they should fit with no problem. Any B series shift linkage will work. If they are the right ones than just keep trying. They do cross once or twice, I can't remember.

Unless they sent a del sol shift linkage then it won't work. Chances are they sent the linkage out of a wrecked GSR and your linkage is bent. Contact the company you bought the swap from and explain what your problem is and see if they will send you out the right setup.
