Default compression and bore...

my ls block has 195k on it. i started to tear it down for the lsvtec build to day. i just read a post saying that you should sleeve a motor when running over 11.5:1 compression and that you should reslveeve it if you are going to bore over .5 mm. is this true? i was planning on running pr3 pistons. on the c-speed calc i come up with 11.6:1.id like your opinions on this block setup. the rods i am going to run are 45k ls rods with arp rod bolts.

too many clicks on that ls motor sleve it or get rid of it thats my opinion

people have told me it doesnt matter. however i think it does but not alot. also this is goign to be a very mild setup.

Well if you are rebuilding it then it will be a new fresh motor. 82mm is the largest I'd go on stock sleeves for N/A. 11.5 is fine. Build on....
