d16y8 guys-IAT question

Default d16y8 guys-IAT question

i just swapped a d16y8 into my 93cx hb. but i dont have the iat sensor. do i just drill the intake(aem) and plug in the 2 wire socket from the harness into it?? does anyone have an intake tube or iat sensor for sale or know of where i can get one? my local junkyard doesn't have i already checked. thanks

can i just take the iat off os my cx manifold and tap it into my new intake tube??

That's what you're gonna have to do.
We used an aftermarket intake, chopped off the snout for the breather tube, stuck the old sensor in and used 2 screws to hold it in place. All you need after that is a little sealant and you're done

screw a hole on the intake and put a rubber grommet on it...

i put the iat on my intake and the code went away. but later came back on but my idle is still fine.
