Default would flat-top pistons be counter-productive in an allmotor build?

Say they were 11:1 (very close to stock itr) and forged?

Would they have a negative impact on the "swirl" or "tumble" necessary to make more power in an allmotor application?

but you cant have flat top 11:1 without losing A LOT of valve relief area.

Yeah you would have trouble using high-lift cams

the concept of flat top pistons in a pent roof combustion chamber in itself is oxymoronic. (is that a word?)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think as long as you don't detonate and hit the valves, it woudln't matter if you're tumbling or not.

What's your definition of high lift? I have 10.5:1 in my GSR. Might I have problems running even a Skunk 2 Stage 1 cam?

Flat tops are perfect for NOS. "Flat" is the BEST piston for using nitrous b/c it distributes it evenly.
