Help asap brake light wont go off and im at work.(stop and help)

hey my brake lights wont turn off even when the cars off id had to disconnect the battary. i dont know what to do.. i have a 92-95 civic coupe.. what could it be. could it be the fuse??? please help asap.. i wanna get this dont before i get outta work please

Haven't been under my dash lately, but check for a switch behind the brake pedal....

Same thing happened to my friends 02 Mustang. Brought it over and I noticed the switch had moved 90 degrees and was resting in the "on" position, moved it back and the lights went off.
