i have heard that it is possible to spray with JUN 3 cams and still use a shot of nitrous. i was wondering if this is true and if so what size shot. i have an ITR engine and was looking for around 200-210 HP off the bottle while still being able to have the option to spray safely. what should i do to achieve this goal and are the juns good for spraying?
I think it's true too but I don't think the engine will last long. Most people with run big cams OR nitrous, I guess your gonna have to uprate the inards of the engine for this, but from what I heard it now a good idea because of too much lift duration ? I might be wrong.
I was wondering the same thing the other day. But, I voted against it. JUN cams have a lot of duration and I think the N20 would be counter prodcutive to the purpose behind them... However, as stated above I agree that you could get it to work if you tuned it properly.
the thing is with the duration of those cams , you will waste more nitrous thne what willget burnt .
the valves will be open soo long it will just waste the nitrous
and you can spray on stock internals easily.

well GOOD FOR YOU!!!
Keith had this homemade crappy exhaust holding him back, plus a fire extinguisher on the A-pillar and altezza tail lights.
Marc ---> who did 226.4 on a 50 shot w/intake, header & testpipe

"Keith put down 240 whp/211 torque with Jun 3s & 100 shot direct port"
so it is possible and benificial. i was wondering what would need to be upgraded in order for this to work safely. would a vafc work for tuning or would you need hondata. am i understanding corectly that to have the nitrous with the cams would not hurt the engine just may not help it?

You don't need JUN III's for 200-210whp off the bottle. With good tuning that is almost possible on the stock cams (has been done before). No need in wasting money.

is it harmful to the engine with the jun 3's and nitrous? or is it just not benificial? i would like to run mid 13's off the bottle (in an EK hatch) while still have the oppurtunity to spray. so i think that i may need some cams to achieve that. or is there a different way to do this? i need help

If you can't pull mid 13's with a STOCK B18C5 in a hatch you might as well just give up now.
Check my sig. That's with a stock weight ITR with stock cams and on street tires. There are also alot of other ITR's on stock cams in the 13's with just bolt-ons. I sure as heck hope a hatch could do better.
