Default OT: Off to Germany

Since we got some travel threads up, is there any places I should visit while I'm there (car parts related of course)...are Recaros cheaper???

I'm already going to visit the new Porsche plant in Leipzig (Building the Carrera GT) and see if I can arrange a short internship...and Stuttgart and Munich as well.

I know there are a few german ITR owners out there, any suggestions?
thanx

Go to the Beergardens.

Also, visit around in what used to be East Berlin. It's a very culturally diverse area.

Nurburgring!!!!!!
One of the best racetracks in the world and open to the public.
Here the schedule for July-September: http://www.nuerburgring.de/eng...3.htm
And a nice guide: http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/beginners.html
This will be about the only place I will be visiting when I go to Europe this summer.

Just got here and am deep in leipzig. Not too many roads here although there is a lot of BIER!

I'm gonna try to make that nurburgring meet but i got a few weekend excursions...but will try to make it to Muenchen and Stuttgart.

Hope to see you guys there and any suggestions are still cool!

Are you in the internet café "Le Bit" in Leipzig ?

The city of Leipzig is very nice, get an ice cream at "San Remo"

If you would like to play billiard or bowling i would recommend the "Starlight".

Visit the "Voelkerschlachtdenkmal".

Definitely put a trip to Berlin into your plans. It is my favorite city that I have visited in Germany. Damn, I'm going to miss not going there this summer.
