Default Anyone have info on polishing wheels/wheel lips/metal?

I was just wondering if anyone happened to have any info or tips on polishing metals from bare to mirror finished... well... wheels in particular... but just anything in regards to techniques, tools, etc, used? i you could help me out i'd really appreciate it thanks

ya I have done it, I used my air grinder with a small buffer on it. I used 3M rubbing compound. It took about 2 hrs eash for my wheels to go from nasty to a mirror chrome finish. well worth it. Considering they were mk4 supra wheels.

thanks for the info man i appreciate it... i was late for a wedding and was looking for parking in the city and was driving around and curbed my right wheels twice on the same effin curb... twice meaning drove around the block and curbed both wheels 2 seperate times... i had something to cry over for the wedding but it was the couple... and then the wendy's drive through curbed a WHOLE wheel cause i oversteered and would have been fine if i backed up but the dumb bitch behind me was on my *** and i asked her to back up and all she did was keep honking... and no one was behind her but oh well can't change what happened just trying to fix em now
