No, they're not the same....

The Ex has shorter, fatter runners that make it better performance wise.

But you can use the same intake on both of them...

 

is the HX intake manifold better then the d16z6 manifold?

looks like d16z6 manifolds are all the same as dx, cx, and other models...

lol damn bro, you really need a new set of glasses man. last time i saw, the cx got a puny IM the size of your dick probably, dx 1/2 a centimeter larger in diameter than cx, and z6 is the size of my dick lol
im still doin a project rite now of tryin to swap my z6 IM with a y8 IM that i just got, cause i heard y8' IM's are the Type R of the D series.

 

i can tell the cx is smaller but im talkin bout the intake manifold itself... not the throttle body. u go take a look again!
