Default help with drum brakes.

how do i get the drum "cap" off so that i can acess the inside of the brake? FYI i have a 95 honda civic.

essentially i plan on replacing the cylinders, as i think they have siezed, and bleeding the rears. (the fronts got bled)

i think you have to remove the hex bolts on the inner side of the drum. you can see them if you crawl up there and look at them from the other angle.

i think those hex bolts are for the brake cylinder.

i saw the dude put my brakes back together at midas. he slapped it on, twisted it with some force and then put the wheel back on.

did he take a mallet to get the drum off in teh first place?
