what kind of power do you guys think this set up would make it is what i have in my 89 ls hatch never dynoed: Portflow head, 3 angle valve job, ported and polish Crower dual valve springs and ti retainers Crower 404 cams Skunk2 Intake manifold DC 4-2-1 header JDM b16a tran stock bottom end. what do you guys think. oh yea and what do you guys think ls rods with p30 b16 pistons would do? ran a 13.8 on the stock bottom end. can you guys help me out?

"what do I need to run 7's" (okay, maybe not the last one), type of posts are pretty much looked down upon because of the innumerable amount of variables in each setup. so to answer your question, throw it on the dyno. Its the only way to know for certain.

thanks man i didn't want a smart *** answer. i was just wondering if maybe some one had a similar setup with some numbers. and as for putting it on a dyno i know that is the only way to find out but i don't have the extra money right now.

You're probably 150 range... but like they said, impossible to answer correctly.

Best way to judge is to look for dynos that have been posted in the archives and look for similiar setups...just type in "dyno" in the search field and there are a ton of dyno posts....good luck

 

Thanks!! Yeah i searched before i posted this, I only found a couple things and was thinking you guys could further help me out on estimating.

 

Only way to tell is on a G-Tech meter. Dyno's are full of bologna. I'd never use one.

 

True, dyno's are very innacurate. My buddy was making 177hp on his stock Civic Si with his gtech. I was so impressed.
