oh trust me clubrsx, is the best place on the net to learn about the car. On the rsx vs all there's a lot of flaming going on but if you think about it, most of the moderators and the people that post there don't own an rsx.
And yes club rsx is anti-rice but no **** there's always 1 or 2 that are ricers. It's like that on every car forum.

I aslo agree for you to go to clubrsx. Remember, one or two members do not speak or represent the entire community. A lot of you need to get that into your heads.

i don't know about you guys, but when i think of jspek, i think of theives. i for sure don't have all the facts, it is just what i think from seeing like 5 of their cars get taken away for having stolen parts then seeing one of the guys start unloading all his parts online. clubrsx is cool. you will learn more there than on ephatch or this forum about k20s.

eh... so i guess since the type R comes with 17" wheels, that fits in the "rice" definition for you? what about c-west/ings/mugen/etc body parts? hmmm... not really to defend clubrsx, i think "rice" is just thrown about too loosely these days.
I admit though, there ARE a lot of stupid kids on clubrsx, but there is a lot of serious people on there too who have already gone through many of the available/unavailable parts.

oh course its not rice ....it requires 17's in order to clear the massive Brembros ...most likely .....
though i feel it would be better with 16's ...i'm sure if you searched hard enough , you could find a set of 16's that might fit with proper spacing onthe DC5R
but 17's on a Type S ..is surely overkill .....unless you have a big brake kit ....even though the OEM braking system with SS brake lines .....and Race/Street pads ....would work perfectly.....
and you wouldnt have to worry about big 17's with narrow unforgiving sidewalls

17's is not an overkill for the S......the DC5 R's in Japan come stock 17's.....
and yes its good for big brake upgrades as well
I got 17" Volk TE37's and they feel GoOOoOoOoooOD

Not to name any names, but there are far too many people that use the term "ricer" just to make themselves look/feel better. Who are you to call someone a "ricer"? I have 18 inch bronze racing harts and an authentic c-west body kit on my type-s. Does that make me a "ricer"? My car also has some of the best japanese parts out there and ran a 12.90 on street tires. I am a proud member of ClubRSX. I think it is just ignorant to say everyone on ClubRSX is a "ricer".
its funny at all u people i only got 2 guys that did try to sell me parts for my rsx.. the rest just talk unless thing.. come on people only answer things that people ask for.. don't just start talking unless things.
by the way i got all the parts from someone that did made sense..... I only need the left fender...
PS: i shoulded had kept my 98 R..... less problem with all this rsx people..

It has started to become this way the last year or so. Before all them youngins started to post, it was the best (well actually, still is the best) place to get all the info you need to fix up our cars.
The one thing that bugs me now is the fact that none of the new member know how to use the SEARCH function. Everything is a repeat; everything has been asked and answered before, yet they still ask it again.
IMO, there use to be more "apc lovers" over here at honda-tech then clubrsx.
And yes, i'm still a proud member of clubrsx.
PS: Like others have said: there's no place better for used RSX parts then the clubrsx for sale forum.

AND YES ...your wheels are over kill on a car that requires 16's ......your only losing power , and making your car slower .....
a 16inch wheel that weighs as much or more than your 17 inch Volk will still accelerate better , and have better handling with a good set of tires .....
17's on a Type S is ONLY FOR LOOKS ....

no ...because you unlike all the rest of them ricers out there , have one of the body kits that is actually a functional peice ......i cant say i like the 18's ....to big ....but i guess thats fine if you dont care about performance on the street ....
but with a functional body kit like that , and the kinda times your running ......that car should be on a race track ....not on a drag strip
