230 to 260 whp + 1800 to 2200lbs = your target

sounds like it would be good for mid 12's if you hit your goal.

jeremyEG,
Yeah planning to get it down to 2050 with me in it, but its going to be hard.
Got all the basics out:
tar, carpet, rear seats, fire wall insulation, spare tire, cf hood, AC, power steering, cruise control, SRS system
Next is going to be rear panels, sunroof glass changed to lexan, fiber glass hatchdoor, AC Compresor under the dash and weight it and see where I am at.
What have you done so far. Any other ideas.

i have everything done that you have listed except for the lexan sunroof and fiberglass hatch. i also removed the bumper supports, removed the power mirrors, have fairly light wheels and momo bucket seats that weigh 11lbs each.

if you are serious about weighing in at roughly 1850-1900, you will need to remove the whole sunroof assembly, lexan windows all around, get fiberglass doors, a 1 piece front end, get rid of the dash and everything except for a driver seat, a small fuel tank, a lightweight battery, and maybee a narrowed drag rear end.

If your going to go to all that trouble, you'd be better off starting with a lighter car ie EF
