im am thinking of buying an 1996 Civic Cx hatch....and i am planning on doing a B18C GSR motor swap in the civic once i buy it.....i was wondering what kind of wiring is involved in doing the swap?....I know you have to use 99-00 Si back motor mount b/c the other one is too short or something....and i have to get the OBD2 motor right not the OBD1 ?

start here... then ask questions...

 

You can get the obd1 motor and convert to obd1, but to solve headaches you could just start with the obd2 motor.

Its very easy I have Type R jdm specs it was very easy to do make sure you change the leaf of the bracket on the driver side were the motor mount is to use the stock mount of the Ek. Also the wiring is very easy. Were are you located? If you needed wiring pin outs i Can send it to you.
