anyone know any models of cd head units that have an amber display?

 

I use a 99Si cd player in my hatch cause I wanted something stock, that would match my cluster and temp lights

I have an Alpine 7894 unit and you can choose either a green or amber illumination, plus you have MP3 goodness.

 

RSX deck is as well... although it's a bit more on the red side... well mine is at least o.O

 

older body style cr-v is amber and says honda above the cd slot

 

Nakimichi [specify amber], and I also believe 97+ preludes..?

 

isn't Nakimichi ridiculously expensive??!

 

my old school sony cd/md player is.. i can't remember which model it is though...

 

S2000 is and is louder than ANY OEM head unit. I know cause I gotz one

CORRECT! i have a prelude type S one in my Teggy. it even works in 1983 accords!

 

The Clarion deck in my Aerio is amber.

 

Do any of thses stock honda headunits have audio out-put for amps? b/c if i want to run a stock headunit, but hook my speakers up to an amp. Thanks

You can just get that thing that hooks up to decks without preamp outputs, I forgot what its called but you can get it at radio shack, just tell them what you want to do and they'll know what you're talking about.

I have a 97 Prelude headunit that lights up amber, looks great.

 

Yeah, you can use a converter.

That one is the same as the 99 and 00 Si.

 

nakimichi's are killer, expensive though, but most do come with built in EQ's
