can you reserface drilled rotors?
You could see what a BMW or Porsche dealership says. The E36 M3's have either drilled or slotted (can't remember which) rotors stock, and just about every 911 and Boxster has drilled rotors. They don't use a lathe on them, but rather a machine that contacts the full face of the rotor an the same time. Similar to the machine used to give the rotor it's initial, out of the box crosshatch finish.
There should be no problem turning those rotors. Unless the shop doesn't know what they are doing. I've been a manufactring engineer, working in the machining area for 30+ years. It's no big deal to turn across holes or slots, especially on cast iron. Turn the RPM up, take several small cuts, and feed the tool slower than normal.

powerstop uses brembo blanks that they drill and when I DEMANDED an answer as to whether or not I could resurface them they said you can...
At first they kept being like... "they won't warp.. if they do we'll replace them for free"...
I just said I was curious and he said sure... I then asked my buddy (with a lathe) and he said they've done it.

i have brembo cross drilled rotors on mine and it has been resurfaced using the same machine to do stock disc brakes. it has been resurfaced long time ago and still no problem with it whatsoever.

i had local pep boys resurface my OG z.speed drilled/slotted rotors once before. and they did it with out any problems. they were cheap too, like $7 a rotor. but the 2nd time, they wouldn't do it again.
i brought it to another machine shop, he did it for $15/rotor. he was worried at first, but he had enough experience to make the small adjustments to make it work.
in short, in a right hand, it can certainly be done.
