what causes this to happen???
Is it disconnecting from the plug or just backing out a little...
If the lead wire goes down too far from the cap it'll sit that high.. I got taylor wires and they ALL sit too high like that...
If it's popping off the plug the only thing I could think of would be the plug is loose enough that the cylinder is pumping air past it and blowing off the wire...
good luck

mine did that when I was pinging running 13.5:1 compression. Went back to stock, wires didn't move.
Used the same MSD wires both times...it makes a loud tick noise right when it happens also

tried to use pliers to tighten the "clip" but cant get in far enough and the plugwire connects to the plug I can feel it...and I guess I'll have to see if I have to tighten the plugs more
Well, it could be caused my excessive crank case pressure. I too have been having this problem lately and I can actuall hear the wire pop off sometimes. I tried out Endyn's way of evacuating crankcase pressure (www.theoldone.com - check out their B20 article for their technique) and so far it seems to be working out for me
