has anyone ever tried rolling back an acura or honda gauge cluster. do you think it will be easy. they have waranty service claims all the time and i doubt it is even possible without breaking something. as i have tried and cant do it but maybe someone is more capable. it also wont go backwards there is 2 mechanisms that stop that a locking lever like on a winch that locks after each turn and some other thing that looks like a 1 way clutch. good luck .

Right now I have about 136000 kilometers, which is about 82000 miles. So if I find a MPH cluster with about 82000 miles on it and install it, will this cause any legal problems? The state doesn't specify if the odometer reads miles or kilometers, so it will look like I went from 136000 miles to 82000 miles.

I think it will just look bad on the CarFax report. Nobody is going to give you a ticket for swaping a odometer.
