Just curious, since I did have the 2.25" A'pex GT header on my '94 GS-R. Has anyone seen one or heard of one before?

There is also one for '98-00 JDM Rs. http://www.optauto.com/webstor...=1412

What is the difference between these two?

Does the 60mm (2.36") in that chart above for the '98-00 header mean at the collector?

Looking at the descriptions it woudl seem the 98-00 header is a JDM (2.5" collector) design. Woudl be nice to check out since the only Apex headers I have seen are really nice pieces.

if your gonna get a new header why not get a "header-tech" ...somewhat cheap and very effective.

 

Actually, I just ordered the Apex header with 2.5" collector. I'll post pics when I get it if anyone is interested.

If he wanted to talk about buying a new header, he would have asked about BUYING a header.

He just wants info on another header, not header tech.

Tubing and collector sizes are different. For a "JDM-sized" header, you'll want part #186-H001 CTR Japan Model. (For some reason, this is the on "Japan-Model" header that A'PEXi lists on their US product sheet as having the larger collector).

I dont know about the header........ but I will agree with that one!
