you sure can, but if you are looking to get chepa tires, for only a couple months, why not just get some really inexpensive ones, like Generals or Mohaves?? They should hole you over for a few months

Cheap, but nice...Kumho 712. $57 each in 205/50-15.

For my driving habits, they don't hold up all that great. But they do surprise me for the price I payed for them. They're not half bad.

If you want cheap but temporarily effective, get kumho estcas. tires.com and tirerack had specials on them recently.

Good luck.

I got scared of Falken tires after the Mazda rev it up event. Those tires seems to have good grip, except it will break loose all the sudden when you push it too hard without even making a sound.

Yokohama AVS ES100 are the best bang for the buck.

Good tires for the money for daily driving.

Stay away from falkens unless you autocross or track your car. IF you want really cheap but still somewhat decent tires, Kumho 711's are it. I was instructing at summit point 2 weekends ago and a student of mine had them on his hatch, and they performed very very well for a $37 tire.

If you want real cheap but alright for a little while try pep boys. You can get some futura tires for dirt cheap. Thats what my mustang buddies use, since they are always burning them off anyway!lol
