Default Apex V-afc etc tach question

I heard these things have tach's on them. Could I substitute one of these for a new cluster with a tach?

They discontinues the rev speed meter and the vafc's tach is constantly moving with 4 digits of number so itll confuse the **** out of you when you try to drive with it.

true, that thing is constantly moving and it reads out exact rpms
ex. 2758 rpm and its kinda hard to read. the gauge is alot more friendly on the eyes.
