I had one on my old EK4 SiR hatch. It is really loud without the silencer. You do lose some lowend, but the iVTEC should help out with that. The exhaust is really nice, and for the money not bad at all. With the silencer in place, it sounded wimpy to me, but before you jump to conclusions, all exhausts that have a silencer sound like they bleed for 7 days every month to me. I like exhausts that you can hardly hear yourself thinking inside, that is just me though. Do the police like it, ***** 'em, deal with it. Actually only once has a cop ever pulled me over for my exhaust, and the reason, some jackass wasn't moving on a green, so I went around him and when I did I romped on it to get his attention. Just so happens a cop heard me and turned around and stopped me. No ticket, just told me to take it easy. Got to love Japan.

Back to the RS*R, I think you will like it, I really liked mine, another of my friends here, Rutt (Dee or TurboDee) has a turboed Integra DC2 SiR that also uses the ExMagGT2, have never heard him say anything bad about it. My next car, Ferio EG9 had a 5Zigen Border 304 Speed exhaust. This too was very loud, but what I really liked about it, the size of the canister. It was not obnoxious looking at all. Tiny but packed a wallop.
Now my current car, well the exhaust is still stock, but it is a IntegraR, the mid-pipe is stainless. But I will be changing this out very shortly with a Kakimoto GT1.0Z full titanium piece. Can't wait. Another loud exhaust and the benefit of weighing in at like 5kg versus the stock 14kg.
Sorry to somewhat hijack your post, it wasn't meant to be.

In the end, you will be happy, if you are anything like me that is

Chris

yeah, the rs*r is much lighter too..i don't know if anyone looked carefully into the pictures of it..
but it's FLANGE-LESS!
pretty crazy stuff
I think i will like the sound as well, ive heard the regular exmag a long time ago and like the deep and loud sound of tanabe and 5zigen systems.
and i got direct confirmation from RS*R in cali this morning, i have the ONLY exmagGt2 exhaust for rsx in the united states of america coming to me right now..

I didn't see a resonator on the catback. I'm guessing it's silly loud. I don't mind loud as long as it doesn't sound like ****/buzzy. Muffler looks identical to the muffler used on the Skunk2 exhaust (made by RSR). If I get a hatchcrap, this will be a potential catback for it..
Let us know how it sounds and performs..

I hope your gonna use a cat. With a test pipe I think your ears will bleed.
Yeah, I like this system more than the BC Spec III.

Anything behind the cat will not affect emissions. The car will still run clean w/ a open pipe.
