Changed my fuel filter and car wont start?!?
I just changed my fuel filter on my 92 civic, everything went well and the car started on the first try after a long crank. But now, the car wont start anymore. All it does is crank but wont start. Anybody have an idea of what it could be? Flooded engine maybe?
Thanks
Thanks
Yah it's probly your fuel filter. Take it out and look at it..
And before you crank on the engine, wait untill the CEL goes off and the fuel pump is done building pressure..

Did you put the filter on right? It sounds like you put it on backwards and that the fuel in line is the one feeding the motor after the fuel enters it... which is backwards.
is fuel getting to your rail? take off the line to the rail, put it in a glass jar, turn the car to the on position, and if fuel comes out...try this, and let us know. if so, then we know the fuel delivery is good up to the rail, and we will have to troubleshoot problems past that point.
