why after a swap......
i was just browsing through the classified ads and there are alot a recently swapped cars for sale, why would anyone go through all the trouble of swapping just to sell it 30-40k miles later? I just finished my swap about 6 months ago and i have NO plans of selling it soon, infact (OT), i plan on boosting soon. What are your opinions, thoughts??? just noticed that i posted in wrong forum, mods please relocate please
Thats a good question...I think alot of folks build a car up and just need money later. Others just need new projects.
And the reason they go for cheaper than what they cost to build is most folks would rather build there own car than buy one done.
Ive gone through three 5th gens in 2 years and am keeping the 4th one...I hope. I liked the second one I built alot but my bud liked it as well and it got him into the Honda scene.
But yeah its strange how many swapped cars you can find.

Possibilities...
Some engines turn out to be stolen and they dont want the hassle?
Some inexpensive swaps aren't done properly causing unresolvable check engine errors or stability problems.

Thats true...The thought of an improper swap doesn't register with me
but you know it happens all the time.

I am selling mines. Its legit with papers.
California BAR certified too.
I don't daily drive it on my 160mile a day commute. I don't have time to drive it. I lost interest in the hobby of cars.
and I hate thieves.
No check engine light on my car. It runs flawlessly.
I also have driven it less than 6000 since the swap about a year ago.
