Sub System Help/Ideas JL10w6v2 or 8w7prowedge
Im trying to figure out which sub would be better in my car, 92 hatch.
My friend has a hatch w/10 sony explod that was 50 bucks and it sounds OK, but im more of a Sound quality guy but like to *bump* a little.
I was thinking of getting a high quality 10 inch like the w6v2 but the 46v2 box is a little big... yesterday i went down to lotts audio and the had a Jl w7 8inch woofer in its own box thats really compact .
which one do you think would sound better in any range?

I know several JL dealers who consider the 8w7 overpriced. They said that it's performance was average when compared to other 8's on the market, and definately not on the same level as its larger counterparts. There are plenty of 10" and 12" speakers that would love a 1ft^3 box. How much space are you willing to give up? Have you looked into fiberglass?
