will d series starter fit b series. the starter on my b series is about to go and i was wondering will the d series one work?

 

just make sure you buy a starter for whatever tranny your using, not the motor

for example if you have a VTEC motor and you have an LS (non-VTEC) tranny make sure you buy the starter for the LS tranny, not the VTEC motor...because different transmissions take different starters

 

wouldn't it depend on what flywheel you were using? because the starter turns it right?and all b series tranny's work with all b series motors..so do you use the flywheel for the motor..or the flywheel for the tranny...for example a ls with a gsr tranny...would you use gsr flywheel..or a ls flywheel??

 

i thought all b-series starters were the same...i could be wrong, anyway i dont think the d series start will work on a b series motor, but i believe the b series starters work on a d series motor.
