what have you done to it?
Some things you can do
carpet, tar, ac, Cruise control, srs system, power steering
This is good for over 100lbs easy.

Passenger seat is a good suggestion.

BTW, how hard is it to uninstall and install that seat on civics?

the moonroof if u have ever taken one out is surprisingly really heavy... it is basicallt the hold inside roof of ur car... its an entire frame with the glass... hence why the roof liner sits actually lower in car with a sunroof

if you remove the bumper supports are you talking about the whole metal piece that the bumpers (front and rear) mount to. IF you are how do you keep the bumper from flopping around or sagging in the center where it would previously have 6-8 bolts?? I wanted to do this to my DA and it seeme like both front and rear bumpers would just sag.

Moonroof is also weight that is mounted high in the car (about as high as you can get) High weight is GOOD to get rid of!

Two L brackets on top in the front and two L brackets on top in the back is plenty.

the bumper supports dont hold up the bumper....its still bolts to the radaitor support and the fenders and the lower radiator support....there is no bolts that hold the bumper to the support...and hes right theyre only for 5mph they dont do **** and u can also get a carbon fiber hood or a fiber glass hood....and look into lighter wheels...that also makes a diff

Has anyone tried taking out there back seats in their 6th gen civic? I tried it last night. Out of 6 or 8 screws, I managed to only successfully unscrew one. The rest of them stripped and will not unscrew. Has anyone else had this problem when trying to do some weight reduction, and how did you deal with it?

if you really want to get serious, and you don't live in an inclement climate, take out the heater/AC box, that is a good amount of weight between the box, cores, and motors. it is at least 35-40 lbs

Than when it rains and your window fogs up you can spend quality time with your women on the side of the road insted of racing.
