Do yourself a big favor:
When u come out of customs @ Narita Airport, go to the JR (Japan Railways) counter and get yourself a JR map in English (Train Lines in Greater Tokyo of JR East); will save you a lot of yen if you learn to use the (excellent) rail system. Don't worry about trying to figure out the fare from station to station; just get a cheap ticket (150yen) and then use the fare adj. machine when u exit
As far as a list of shops, just get yourself a copy of OPTION; it's pretty easy to figure out where to go; just realize that most shops, with the exception of Spoon, do not stock a whole lot of Honda stuff...they can get it, but usually you'll have to order it
Things not to miss while in JPN:
JDM ice coffee; Asahi Wonda is best IMO, you can find it at any 7-Eleven or Lawson - you'll never want to drink that Starbucks crap again
JDM bread; the Japanese bake some of the best bread in the world - try it with some full-cream butter from Hokkaido

Honda Museum @ Twin Ring Motegi - definitely on my list of places to visit
here is access info:
http://www.twinring.jp/english....html
Akihabara (Electric Town) - coolest electronic gadgets on earth; just beware that JDM market electronics are 100V
http://www.akiba.or.jp/index_e.html
And of course Spoon in Ogikubo...
So many places to visit, always so little time

While you're in Roppongi, there's an awesome place for Sushi called Gonpachi. Supposedly Pres. Bush went there on his last trip to Japan. Also, in Akihabara there's a ramen shop called Jyangara. Get the Zenbuiri. It's one of my most favorite ramen places in Tokyo.

If anywhere near Osaka, head to Signal Auto in Mineo, the manager there is hot female that is fluent in english.
Also while in Osaka, go to Underlounge in America Town, if you are a gaijin, it doesnt get any better than that...the girls are crazy and super hot.

Spoon is in Ogikubo, about 6-7 stops WEST of Shinjuku
Mugen is in Saitama prefecture, quite a ways north of Tokyo
Top Secret is in Chiba, about halfway between Narita Airport and central Tokyo
Toda is out in da boonies (Okayama prefecture i think), don't even know where Apexi is based...
With the exception of Spoon (and Top Fuel, Top Secret), I wouldn't bother trying to visit the mfrs. - they're not set up for retail biz; just get an OPTION mag and you'll see which shops have the best prices
