ok im pretty much done with my swap besides the shift linkage that is causing the problem to be finished..i have a 95 b18c1 into a 93 del sol and the shift linkage off the b18c is just to short,(about 1 inch or a half to short, to dark and tired to measure, this was about 1am) and one of the bends is hitting against the under of the car..im just wondering if this is normal or somthing is wrong? should i measure it to the correct length and get it cut and weld at a shop? or is there a different shift linkage i can use? i measured the stock shift linkage off the d15 against the b18c and the bend on the d15 is pretty much perfect but still pretty short just like the b18c's shift linkage.. ive done swaps in hatches and etc and this was never the problem so this is really bugging me and id like to get my car running asap..if theres anyone out there that can help please do, thanks in advance!

 

I believe you need to use the shift linkage from the DOHC Vtec Del Sol...

 

get the shift linkage from a Del Sol VTEC.

 

alright, so the DOHC vtec del sol one is longer and has a different bend right? just want to make sure if the theres somthing else that could be in the way and i dont know. Thanks for replying guys, is there anyone out there that wants to trade for a gsr shift linkage in Nor cal area or wants to sell one? i need to get this done asap and get it out of my friends garage..someone must have one! thanks
