cutt car in half????

Default cutt car in half???? pro's and con's

93 dx hatch...cut down the middle front to back to make it to a wide body convert to about a foot extra. i understand that the in terrior will have to be changed to fit the car most stuff like the dash and head lining ,console will be fiberglass...is it point less or would it a great project?

we have the frame ready for work... shes preped and set for welding
next week i have a guy coming down to help out with the design. sofar it has only cost me a case of beer and 175 bucks
wheels axle enginge and mounts will arive soon
i have no idea for suspention setups but i have a good idea of what to use
aircondition springs were used in my buddies 76 ford... just though i should as for some thoughts before i get any further

Sounds cool to me. I would have just started with a coupe is you want the extra length. The wide body is a great idea though and I'd love to see some pics when its done. Sounds like a lot of work, but can't beat the price.

Well if you do cut it and make it wider, your gonna need to make everything else custom or else nothing will work. The axles won't fit anymore either because the hub/knuckles will be farther apart.

i plan on making the car wide maybe a foot or so... plus i might be able to fit the oddessy engine width wise but for the lenth i would hve to play a little. 2002 v6

is it going to be a normal driven car or is this just for shows, if its just for shows it would be tight. completely unique thats what will allways win. go for it if you have the patience and money.

Or you could swap in a honda element engine with the 4wd tranny and then it would be like a widebody awd civic

Well just hopefully it doesnt turn out looking like this!!

Thast my CRX parts car it was a bit easier to cut it up and take it to the scrap yard than the whole body was.
