Default EG Sloppy, loose, unresponsive steering, Why ?

Hey guys I have a 92 hatch, just curious about the steering kinda, i can turn it about 6 inches both ways and barely have any response at all < - NO P/S ... any ideas on how to easily fix this ? also I have to turn the steering wheel so much just to make a corner, smaller wheels and stuff do make a little difference or the turning amount but not on the sloppy looseness ... if any has any idea please post !!

replace bushings, if you look in the steering rack, there is a big *** nut. take that out and tighten the screw thats is there. That should help it
