diff between my piping and true mendrel bent?
i got some piping recently and it was straight then they used a machine to press bend it to make it fit my application (99 gsr)...is there a big diff between the piping i got (all one piece press bent) vs mendrel bent cut and weld piping?
i paid $180 to get my cat flanged on both sides the o2 sensor relocated and my piping installed and flanged...did i get jipped?

That seems like it would be the going rate for that work so I dont think you got ripped off. Although it is best to find an exhaust system where the company includes the piping otherwise with setups like yours you may be losing power over stock even though you have larger piping. Its all about flow. Many manufacturers test the flow of their piping for 100's of hours trying to tune out bottle necks and high turbulence areas. In likely 75% of exhausts ive seen, the Honda piping is better than the after market job. If your bent on buying a aftermarket exhaust than, 5Zigen and Thermal make the finest piping ive seen. Hope this helps.
even though it's not accurate...my butt dyno tells me my cat+ piping did a lot...cuz i only had a header & axle back on for a while....well i'll be at the track in 2 weeks....we'll find out
