Default 9.1:1... How much boost?

How much boost can you run on 9.1:1 pistons.. assuming the rods and everything else are replaced with stronger units? What about 8.1:1? How much horsepower, round figure obviously, with a turbo running a given psi, with cams, upgraded fuel... etc etc etc.

let me take a wack at this one, assuming i have no idea what engine this is going in, and your going to replace everything, and slap a FATTY turbo on it, tune it. i would say a good 500-700 WHP

Anywhere from 200-500. Too many variables.

seriously dude...more specifics, then people can start throwing down some real numbers, maybe youll find a similar set up that you would like if u used the search function, and check their dyno plots

you were jumping the gun on THAT one bro. you made a pretty noob post right there. if u would have taken the time to read the rest of the posts, you would have seen that he is using a b16, and lets just assume its the PR3 head.

Tell us more about your setup if u can.

on pump gas, you will find your limits in the ~300-400 whp range.

On race gas, assuming other variables are ok, 500+ is definately possible, but it's a matter not of the compression, but of the series of comprimises you choose :-)

list more details for a more detailed answer.

Anyways, those of you who are helpful:
B16A2
Greddy Turbo kit
FMIC
9.1:1 or 9.0:1 JE pistons
Crower rods
Crower cams... stage 2 (unless yall have a better suggestion)
full exhaust w/o cat,
port and polished head *maybe*, t3/04....
lightened flywheel and stage 2 clutch (doesn't matter.... i don't think)
Anything else ya need to know?
