I've searched the forums but haven't found exactly the response I'm looking for. Are there any companies online that sell a GSR Head fully built ?...I'm looking to do a ls vtec conversion with a GSR head. What could my expected whp be...I'm hearing things from 160-205whp.

 

There are companies that will port and polish your head but I dont know of any selling fully built heads. I would get the head mated to the block before you start messing the head itself, you may run out of money.

FYI- For the money you could go turbo and be making more hp.

I have 2 places by me that will do the conversion. I just need to find a GSR Head fully built , with intake manifol etc. Theyll do it for around 1020. That includes oil pump, timing belt, water pump , head stud bolts, head gasket, oil gasket all the machine work and install. And I have a 99 LS so I alrdy have the block.
