Default Clutchmasters Flywheel Offset

Hi, I just bought a Clutchmasters Stage 3 kit for a 90-91 Integra, and in the package was a card that said I need to resurface the flywheel so there's an offset of positive 110, in other words the contact surface should be raised 110/1000 (0.11) of an inch above the perimeter of the flywheel where the pressure plate bolts up. Very unfortunately, I didn't notice the card at first and I've already put everything together and it's just about ready to run (I was doing a considerable amount of other stuff to the car). I called Clutchmasters and they said if I don't get it offset properly it won't engage, but the clutch disc feels -pretty- damn tight against the flywheel to me.

So.. my question to the peoples of honda-tech is.. is it important for me to do as Clutchmasters says? I'm not hot on ripping my tranny out, I've already done that a couple times this month. I refuse to believe given the tightness of the clutch disc at the moment that it will simply not engage, but definitely don't want to rip up my new $500 clutch which hasn't yet been broken in because I didn't feel like pulling the tranny.

Thanks
Adam
