Stainless Steel Brake Lines
I'm shopping for brake items to take me for the rest of the year, I have 5 track days scheuled between July 8 - October 15. I got the Porterfield R4S pads, brembo blanks, and bought two cans of ATE Super Blue. That should be it, but I am also thinking about upgrading the brake lines to these:

Does adding stainless steel lines really make a noticable difference in braking power, modulation, etc? Or, is it mostly for show, and I'd be OK with the stock rubber lines?
Thanks for any input.

Comptech is a great company to buy from.
Stainless steel lines will not improve braking power, but they make it easier to modulate heavy braking. I like mine.
You might now like your porterfield pads - they're a little weak. If you want a better track compound, give Andie @ Cobalt a call.
