Default Removing door panels...

Yo.

There are actually a few reason why I have to get my door panels off. The thing is see, I dont know how. Could someone please help me out and provide the directions on how to take off my 1998 Civ coupe's door panels.

The reasons...
-try to kill a few rattles
-lube up my power windows
-inspect my speakers for future considerations...

screw in the armrest, screw in the handle, remove those and disconnect the wire harnesses. Pop off the speaker cover and remove the speaker. There are 3 screws around the speaker hole that need to come out as well. Then just pull gently all around the door to pop out the clips, then lift up and out and ur done .

I thought the speakers in EK's were mounted to the plastic on the doorpanel itself?

well the reason I ask is because the thread owner said he wanted to take the panels OFF to inspect the speakers.

I was merely going to say it's not necessary to go that far to inspect the speakers, although since he wants to fix some rattling, I guess they're coming off anyway

I just had to put it back on with the tweets. About 20 minutes into trying to put it back on I was sooo close to smashing the hell out of the tweet. I then sat and fell asleep in the cold garage in the civ with the door open and panel off, dejected at the thought of not being able to put my car back together... I awoke 25 minutes later and put it in first try! But my fingers hurt from the previous 20 minutes of failed attempts... **** the tweeters!
