Looking for some Eibach springs to go with my Ground Controls...
Hey Guys. Looking for some 400 f/ 300 r Eibachs to go with my GC's and was hoping somebody here might have a set lying around that you want to get rid of
.
Not looking for freebies will pay you for them of course but I thought some of you guys have extras.
.RJ approved me on this post a couple weeks ago thats why its here and not in classifieds.
BTW I have a 93 Si with a B18c swap, I use the car for daily driving and autocross events. If anyone has a suggestion on some different spring weights let me know.
Thanks.
EDIT.... Ok so I got hooked up with some 400 springs just need the 300 springs. Thanks to AntiRice

I can do new 2.5ID hypercoils at 56.25 each plus shipping. I do have some used ones but they are too long for you application. as RJ said 7 inch will probably work well.
if you come to the hyperfest at summit this weekend they will be $50 each (I have the 400lbsX2.5IDX7inch in stock)

Thanks Kingrat...Dont think I will make hyperfest...I live in Wyoming.
One other question. I have the stock set of g.c.'s on my car and I am running agx's right now. I also have Koni yellows on order.
After talking with Dale at ground control he thought the best thing would be to keep the agx's and go with a heavier spring weight (300f/400r)
So whats the best route here...the ground control guy is saying that the agx's and that spring weight work really good together, and that the Konis and that spring rate wouldn't be as good...

both shocks will be fine. if you already have agx's, keep 'em and run 300/400# springs.
upgrade to a threaded body coilover later.

I have some extra 400lb springs for ground controlls, I'll try and take some pics and measurments tonight just to be sure wht they are exactly. I got them A while back and never used them, ended up ordering custom rates for my other car instead. PM me if your interested.

having driven cars with both agx's and koni's, i can assure you that the koni's will make the kyb's look like cheap gabriel's or monroe's. yeah, the kyb's are stiff, but only because they have way too much compression damping and insufficient rebound damping. and it only gets worse as you adjust the shock stiffer. go with koni, you won't regret it.
iirc, the koni threaded body shocks are essentially a koni/gc combo that is sold by koni using there own sleeve. not necessary if you already have gc's, however, you will want to get the adapter that gc uses to engage the snap ring that comes on the koni yellows.

ps. 300/400 is asking for trouble. do some math on motion ratios, available suspension travel at your desired ride height, etc. you'll find you'll probably want something close to double those rates.

Since it's a street driven car, I would suggest against 800# rear springs. Granted the motion ratio may be more ideal, but the shocks will have to be revalved. I would raise the ride height to retain proper shock travel and to keep off the bumpstops.

Uh.. yeah... on OTS konis I was running 600# in the rear and that was pushing their damping limits. They worked fine, but just a little bouncy. I started w/ 375/450# springs but i thought too much body roll... the 450/600's felt pretty damn good. But driving on the streets was a chore - the only street use they saw was driving to the track.

Good thing you sold those to some stunna who thinks he's gonna drive those on the street...

Thanks guys...just need some #300 springs now! Yeah I am going to keep the agx's and my bud's gonna sport the Konis.
I've got
1 pair 8" GC200.64.58
1 pair 7" GC100.64.44
I'll take $50 for them all. They're going in the trash at the end of this month. thanks.
