Default What compression for Z6 9.0 Pistons in a D16Y8?
Like the topic says, what would be the compression ratio if you were to use 9.0:1 D16Z6 pistons into a D16Y8 engine? Thanks

It will up the compression ratio by about .3 points. The D16Z6's combustion chamber has a volume of 34.6cc. The D16Y8 has a volume of 32.8cc. The headgasket thicknesses and bore/stroke of the 2 engines is the same.
