GSR shifter in a civic?
Will a stock GSR dual bend shifter fit perfectly onto the shift linkage of a civic? This would be going onto a 95 Si if that makes any difference. TIA
no it wont. you need to cut of one of the sides like 1/4 inch where the stock bearing goes

yes it does...i have one in my car...you have to bend the forks out on the shift linkage...heres a quick 1st grade illustration
thats what i did...and it worked...good luck

I agree with BauleyCivic...cause I helped him put this in his car. It fits, you just need to bend your stock civic shift linkage end to accept the larger GSR shifter. The linkage bends real easy, just use a set of pliers and you're good to go
take the stock bearings out of the gsr and civic shifter. take the gsr shifter and cut 1/4 of the longer end side of where the shifter bolts on to the linkage(for measurements use the civic shifter). now once the gsr shifter has been modified take the bearing and all the seals from the civic and insert it all into the gsr shifter.
instant short throw shifter-keep in mind althought the throw is shorter the height of the shifter is somewhat taller than the civic. *enjoy and i wouldnt recomend just bending the linkage to fit the shifter like in the diagram in the previous post.

its easy as **** to bend...its like play doh...
oh well...both methods will work...but yes with some custom fabrication a gsr shifter WILL fit in a civic

I would rather go through the 30 seconds it takes to bend the civic shift linkage (and it doesn't **** it up or ruin it at all) and not modify the Integra shifter. Cutting the shifter down and stuff takes more time and effort and you get, the same outcome basically...
