"Brake Service"ing.. What's involved?
Hey Guys,
Its time for my scheduled maintenance, 28K and I'm going to do this one myself, not take it to the dealer. The service brochure says "inspect and service breaks" or something in those lines.
Now my question is... what's involved in servicing the brakes?
Thanks in advance

I'd say checking pad life and how the rotors are doing (The 2nd would not be a concern if you haven't tracked your car, IMO, not yet). Probably either bleed and/or flush brake fluid too. Maybe check the tension of the ebrake, easy stuff.
i'm not really sure what else could be involved, besides them looking at the MC, brake lines and ABS lines to make sure they are 'ok' (and charging you 100's or dollars for looking around).

I have one, but not with me.
I tried to best summarize what i thought it might say.
Chris - who's Helms has about a quart of motor oil and transfluid soaked into it... still.
