Default D16y8 with p2e?

Alright my mini-me swap is on and running like ****. I had it hooked up to a p28 with a obd2-1 harness, but it ran crappy and threw a bunch of codes it shouldnt be throwing. I think the obd2-1 harness I got might be fucked. Anyway, I put my old p2e back on, and I know the vtec wont work, but can i start my car with it? I havent tried and I dont want to mess anything up, I hooked up the p2e and im getting a code 14 (IACV y8 IACV is different then y7) and a code 2 or 11, I can't find definitions of this code in my book so i dunno what that means. Anyway, can I try starting the car on the p2e without doing any damage?

THanks
Dan
