ok i know some of you may be asking why would you do anything to a sohc d15?? the answer is i dont know. i guess i just love making cars go faster than they should be even if they are slow as hell to begin with. Ok so anyway i was wondering what are the best upgrades i can do to my civic besides for FI or anything like that. I already have i/h/ and a muffler. soon to get powerpulleys. i really dont want to save up a alot of money for an exhaust so if anyone knows where i can find a cheap exhaust or is selling one for cheap let me know. so can anyone help with my journey to modding my 1.5 liter sohc civic. that would be a great help. if anyone esle is modding their 1.5 they could also tell me what they have done to theirs and what times theyve run at the track. thanks tj

I have a 92 civic with a d15. Have an injen intake and an obx type h cat back exhaust. Very inexpensive exhaust that sounds damn good, not farty at all . To get good power from the d15 just get a rebuild and make a turbo kit from parts on ebay. They can be pretty quick with boost and great for that sleeper effect. Or for maybe around 700 total get a d16z6 vtec swap. What ever way you go, good luck!

Everyone here will tell you to swap. Go here http://pub143.ezboard.com/bhondadseries and do a search. Put a new head on it, a cam, pistons, or bolt-ons. Also, an ex tranny. Good luck.

how much was the obx exhaust? what else do you have done to your d15? i think its cool that other people do stuff to this engine. all input is great. thanks.

$150 for the exhaust off ebay . Ebay is the pimp show for cheap parts. I am however getting a d16z6 swap if I can get my hands on one. Everyone says they're everywhere but damn i can't find one! Places online only seem to have jdm engines and b16's. Oh well, I'm sticking with my bastard D .

I got a stock 93 dx hatch and i ran 16.1 with aem cai and unbolted the cat.

is your exhaust 2.5 or 2.25? how old is it? did you buy it used or new? if you wanted to i could take it off your hands fgor you???

hello read the sig...thats why u would want to fix up a d15b...im in the process of selling this d15b vtec motor so i can fully build my d15b8...which is my original cx motor...
