Just installed Skunk2 coilover and the back is boucyyyyy..

Default Just installed Skunk2 coilover and the back is boucyyyyy..

I don't know how good the skunk2 coilover are...but as of it in my car...the back is boucy as hell....it's horrible....I don't know if i did something wrong..(never had problem before)....
But if anyone has the instruction guide..i would like to see....I might of put the coil in the wrong order...(front to back-back to front) ..any one could help would be nice...thankx

Maybe, but its probably your shocks. How low do you have it?

Correct...you are probably either riding on the bumpstops, your shocks are worn/old, or the stock shocks (?) aren't stiff enough to handle a stiffer spring...

of course you could have screwed up the install too

You didn't install the OEM shock dust covers did you? If you did, it will make it feel like you're riding on solid suspension, and would probably make it pretty bouncy.

I'm pretty sure i didn't install it wrong....I think it's the old shock....but anything is possible...i'll be taking it out tomorrow to see what's going on...

Would the shock dust cover make a difference?

Same thing happned w/ me. Once u decomprees the shock its loses it's stifness. Plus they are oem. My **** is pretty bouncy on my itr. get some koni yellows or somethin

Ok..my stock shocks can't take these...so i'm gettin some tokico blues...300 for a brand new set? good deal?
btw..for those who has tokico blues...are u satisfy with them?

i'd recommend KYB AGX's instead of the blues. its just my suggestion, i heard many good things about KYB, and i've heard a few complaints about tokicos. plus you'll have the adjustable dampening in the AGX for not much more than Blues.

so anyone know any good settings off the top of their head for skunk2's and kyb agx's?? would like very good handling and stiffness is cool, just not to much. oh yeah how low can one go with the skunk2's brfore it starts getting bad. would like to lower my car 2 in the back and 2 1/4 in front
